WELL MAN TO BEAT

8 Ball Joe heads group A with a awesome 11 points out of 12,good start and maybe good strategy,he had a 34 break against Harry potter Unsworth along the way to a fine 3-0 win. The young guns Scott and Nath the thunder green hold 2nd and 3rd spots but will surely tumble down the league when the big guns play eventually.

Phil the master Tsang produces the match of the tournament so far, blasting a poor Carl Postman Lappin away with a fine 31 and 32 breaks in the first 2 scrappy frames. But in the final frame The MASTER produced a sight for sore eyes.. Yes a 104 break of pure potting and positional play.

The only disappointment for the packed house was the pink which Phil made sure of instead of trying for position on the yellow for a total 131 clearance.. Well done Phil

Well it was a hard night for new boy Liam the hustler McKay

Up against the master at his best again, 3 breaks over 30 with a fine 54 in the last to add to his 31 and 32 in the first frames, Ryan finally recording his 2ND win of the group with a fine 28 to snatch the final frame and beat the hustler 2-1..... Only the Potting machine Lappin has beat the Master so far, but he went down to his brother Carl postman Lappin 2-1  to register his first points after his 3-0 defeat in his 1st match.. Well done Carl keep it going

Liam The Hustler McKay v Hong The Rocket Quach

The miss firing rocket beat Liam 3-0 but the score line didn't represent how close the match actually was, very unlucky Liam not to pinch a frame, not much in any of the games and your doing the pool lads proud..

With a few games left in Group A, it looks certain that Joe Holt is going to finish top, can he keep up his 100% record? It will be interesting to see who will finish in the top four and qualify for the next round with Mark Fagan four points behind fourth place with three games left.

Group B is getting interesting, with Phil Tsang top of the group but who else is going to finish in the top four??? Hong Quach is two points behind with a game in hand, has a four point lead over third place Ryan Bradbury who has now completed all of his games. This leaves Paul Spencer, Nathan Lappin, Steve Monks and Carl Lappin all fighting it out to gain a top four finish!
