AGM - change of date
This year the committee has decided to split the AGM & Presentation into two separate events.
The AGM will be held on Thursday 23rd May 19:30 @ QBall & this will be for captains only.
If for any reason you cannot make it then you can send a nominated person from your team to represent you.
In the run up to the AGM we will be sending out to the captains the agenda for the meeting so you can
then discuss with your teams anything that needs to be voted on or if they have any points they wish to be raised at the meeting.
PRESENTATION
The Presentation Evening will be held on Saturday 8th June'24 19:30 at QBall.
We want to try & encourage as many people as we can to come to this evening.

POINTS DEDUCTION
Basildon B - 6 points deduction due to not fulfilling rearranged game with Becontree 2 in correct allocated timescale. Becontree 2 awarded 9-0 win & Basildon B given 6 point deduction.
Dress code violation - points deduction
Following a recent rearranged match a dress code violation has occured & therefore a points deduction for Basildon B.
ALL teams should adhere to the dress code, not half/half, not black top but FULL dress code. This season enough reminders have been set & now 2 points deduction were carried out to this team.
Please take note enough reminders have been asked & all we ask is you abide by the rules set, if you dont know the rules then please read up on the rules section.
Venue Closure
Sadly due to unforeseen circumstances Basildon Snooker Club has had to close its doors.
Basildon remaining home fixtures will be played at Qball so please go to this location for remaining season.

Unfortunately our league lost a former VHSL player
John Peacock recently, on behalf of the entire league please accept our deepest sympathies.

23/24 Season New Shirts
VHSL - Season 2023/24
A total of 17 teams have registered to play in the VHSL 2023/24 season.
The league for this season consists of two divisions, with 8 teams in Divison 1 & 9 teams in Division 2
The Doubles competition will back to Standard Doubles for the 2023/2024 season.

League Results Submission
All captains are required to update thier Results by Tuesday night via their log in details supplied.
Please ensure the results sent include the individual match scores & ALL qualifying high-breaks made (breaks of 35 or more in Division 1, 30 or more in Division 2) for BOTH teams playing on the night.
NB:
This year failure to submit results by the required time will result in the following actions:
1st offence - An official e-mail warning will he issued by the appropriate division secretary.
2nd Offence - A 6-point penalty deduction from the team.
3rd Offence - A 9-point penalty deduction from the team.
4th & subsequent offence - A 12-point penalty deduction from the team.
